Chapter II

Atomic Physics

Have you heard it said that atoms are made up of protons, neutrons, and electrons? We don't know that for sure but we have a strong belief that they are. No one has ever seen inside the atom. But the theory that it's made up of three parts has been wildly successful at understanding nature. Furthermore, each proton is believed to be made up of 3 quarks, 2 ups (q = +⅔·e) and one down (q = −⅓·e). So that the total charge adds up to 1·e (e = 1.602 × 10⁻¹⁹ Coulombs). Check it out. It works. Additionally, the neutron is believed to be made up of 1 up quark (q = +⅔·e) and 2 down quarks (q = −⅓·e). So that the total charge adds up to zero. Again, check it out. It works.

Here's the math so you can check your answer:

1 Proton

= 2 up quarks + 1 down quark

= (+⅔·e + +⅔·e) + (−⅓·e)

= 1·e

= +1.602 × 10⁻¹⁹ Coulombs

1 Neutron

= 1 up quark + 2 down quarks

= (+⅔·e) + (−⅓·e + −⅓·e)

= 0 Coulombs

So any way you slice it, atoms are made up of 3 parts. Protons, neutrons, and electrons. Or up quarks, down quarks, and electrons. When God designed the universe, He signed nature with these fundamental truths about its building blocks.

3 parts for understanding nature.
3 parts for understanding God.

Isn't it interesting that these theories are the same? Everything comes in threes for the purpose of pointing you towards Him. God's signature.

This isn't merely an analogy to some animal in nature. This is an analogy to the fundamental building blocks of the universe. If we take this theory as evidence that God signed nature when He constructed His universe, then we must discard as possible all religions that don't have a triune understanding of their God. To my knowledge, Christianity is the only faith that makes this claim. All other religions must be wrecked.

When the second angel blew his trumpet, something like a large burning mountain was hurled into the sea. A third of the sea turned to blood, a third of the creatures living in the sea died, and a third of the ships were wrecked.
